South Carolina Lake House

Single storey house on gentle sloping lake front lot at Modoc, US.
Client wanted to have two storey modern looking house which should incorporate the slope into the main concept. We did a bold design decision and proposed a single-wide floor plan that looks single leveled but also has sub levels.

It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the other.
