Eda Dogan Kaya is the Interior Designer and Founding Partner at nornwork in Turkey. Previously she worked as a Senior Interior Designer at Gönye Project Design in Istanbul.
She connects interior design and architecture. Her experience is diverse, with a range of projects including residential, hotel, office and recreational facility projects over the last eight years. The detailed nature of her work, coupled with her extensive research into materials and product development is reflected in the rich interiors and architecture produced.

2019 – Current
nornwork is a private design studio I founded with my partner to service globally span clients looking for tailored solutions for their projects. Since then, we’ve worked with individual clients from Turkey, United States, Italy, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, projects spanning from various B&B’s, apartments, single family houses, commercial offices, hotels and educational buildings.

As an Interior Architect, I was one of the seniors who helped Statu to grew from an Italian premium furnisher-retail import company into a turn-key interior project company in the scope of hotel retails and bespoke houses by completing several domestic projects, family houses in Anthaven, horeca in Biblos Hotel.
gönye project design
2015–2019
As a Senior Conceptual Designer, I was in charge of several interior concept designs of Mixed-Use Projects and Private Houses. I worked on early concept creating process of the show flats, common areas, social facilities, office blocks, sales offices and HoReCa. Following with presentations of concepts to customers, preparing shop drawings, FFE&BOQ and transferred to the other project teams. I was one of the in-charge designer of the project that awarded and published on Andrew Martin Interior Design Review Vol.23
